HDPE (High Density Polyethylene) float docks are superior high quality floating docks. Constructed with 12”, 14’” or 16” HDPE pipe, with a minimum ½” thickness, the pipe float frames provide a stable platform for your recreational or commercial docking needs.
The laterally welded pipes add additional buoyancy and rigidity and allow the dock to slide easily along the ground to ease with installation or removal.
HDPE float docks are constructed using commercial grade welding techniques and materials including HDPE pipe grade welding rod and plate. All HDPE pipe is also Styrofoam filled for additional security and peace of mind.
HDPE float docks can be purchased as a frame only for the do it yourself option, or complete with lumber and accessories.
Each HDPE float dock can be constructed as a single unit or designed into numerous configurations to fit your waterfront needs. Multiple docks can be connected together with ¼” thick galvanized connecting hardware. Units are available up to 50ft in length and 10ft wide or more.
The upper wooden deck consists of 4” x 4” pressure treated longitudal and lateral stringers, 2” x 8” pressure treated fascia and your choice of 5/4” or 2” x 6” pressure treated decking. Additional accessories such as cleats, rub-rail, corner bumpers etc. are also available to fit your needs.
